    Blueberry Smoothie

    Ingredients:


    1/2 cup frozen blueberries
    1/2 medium banana, sliced ​​and frozen
    1/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt (you can make a blueberry smoothie without yogurt - you can add extra ice cubes to make it thicker)
    2 tablespoons rolled oats
    1/2 tablespoon almond butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

    Optional:
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla (or unflavored) protein powder (if using vanilla, reduce the vanilla extract to 1/4 teaspoon)
    1-2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

    Directions:


    1. Place blueberries, bananas, Greek yogurt, oatmeal in a blender flakes, almond butter, vanilla, cinnamon, almond milk, and protein powder (if using). Blend until smooth.
    2. If the smoothie seems too thick, add more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. Taste and add maple syrup to sweeten the smoothie, if desired.
