    Mint Apple Sauce

    We recommend serving this sauce with grilled meat or fish dishes.
    You can also serve it as an appetizer with crackers and goat cheese!


    Ingredients:


    1/2 cup mint leaves
    3 sprigs flat-leaf parsley (leaves only)
    1 apple: cored, sliced ​​(green Granny Smith apples work best)
    1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
    1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

    Directions:

    1. Place mint, parsley, apple, olive oil, and lemon juice in a food processor and pulse until well combined.
    2. Use the sauce immediately or pour into an airtight container and refrigerate. Keep in mind that the sauce will start to brown after a day. Therefore, it is best to prepare it just before serving!
