This healthy smoothie is a great snack or dessert for breakfast!
You can add 1-2 cups of spinach to this smoothie (it will make the smoothie more nutritious). Trust me, you won’t even taste it!
Ingredients:
1 large, frozen, ripe banana
1-2 tablespoons cocoa powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter, creamy
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of your choice); plus more if needed to thin
Directions:
In a large, high-powered blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes (until well combined). Start with 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder; you can add more if you want a super chocolatey flavor. Add more almond milk if needed (to make the smoothie thinner).
Yield: 1 smoothie
