We recommend serving Jalapeno-Tahini (sesame paste) sauce with salads, salmon, chicken, tofu, etc.
Ingredients:
1/2 Jalapeno pepper (jalapeno), seeded
3 tablespoons TAHINI (sesame paste)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup fresh cilantro
2-3 tablespoons warm water (to thin the sauce)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If you want the sauce to be thinner, add a little warm water.
2. Season with salt and pepper to taste (but not too much!), then blend again and taste. Add more salt and pepper if necessary.
Yield: about 1/2 cup sauce
