    Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

    This melt-in-the-mouth treat only requires two ingredients!

    Ingredients:


    2/3 cup (160 g) pure peanut butter, smooth
    125 g dark chocolate (70-85% cocoa or sweeter if desired)

    Optional toppings:
    1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup (omit if using sweeter chocolate)
    A small handful of chopped nuts, such as pistachios, almonds, or walnuts

    Directions:


    1. Chop or break the chocolate into small pieces and combine with the peanut butter in a heatproof bowl. Carefully melt both in a bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir occasionally until smooth. Another method: Melt the chocolate and peanut butter together in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
    2. Once the mixture is completely melted and smooth, stir in the syrup (if using), then stir in any additional toppings (optional).
    3. Pour the mixture into a small silicone mold, parchment-lined baking sheet, or other container of your choice. Then smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle with your desired toppings (e.g. nuts/chocolate chips - optional).
    4. Refrigerate or freeze for 1-2 hours (until set), then cut into squares and enjoy!


    NOTE: If you want to adjust the hardness/softness of the candy, vary the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter (the more peanut butter, the softer the candy). If you want to adjust the “thickness” of the candy mass, change the size of the mold you use and adjust the freezing time.
