    Sautéed Asparagus

    Sauteed asparagus is a great side dish that you can prepare in minutes!
    You can garnish it with fresh herbs (parsley, dill, chives), parmesan cheese, toasted pine nuts, etc.


    Ingredients:


    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    450 g asparagus (only the soft parts, cut into 2-3 cm pieces)
    1/4 teaspoon sea salt
    Freshly ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

    Directions:


    1. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the asparagus, salt and a few pinches of pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, for 3-6 minutes (until tender). Cooking time depends on the thickness of the asparagus.
    2. Remove from heat and mix with lemon juice. Season to taste and serve.
