    Spicy Garlic Edamame

    Edamame Beans with Garlic – a delicious and quick snack!

    Ingredients:


    450 g frozen EDAMAME beans in pods
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (or more to taste)
    1 teaspoon sea salt flakes

    Directions:


    1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Season generously with salt and add the frozen EDAMAME beans.
    2. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes (according to package directions).
    3. Drain and set aside.
    4. Heat a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and melt.
    5. Add the crushed garlic clove and chili flakes to the melted butter. Stir fry.
    6. Heat the garlic butter for 3-5 minutes – until the garlic is golden brown (not brown!). Remove from heat.
    7. Add the drained EDAMAME beans to the garlic butter. Stir to coat the beans well with the garlic butter.
    8. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes before serving.
