    French Toast

French toast is a great idea for breakfast. By the way, this toast recipe does not use milk.
Serve breakfast toast with your favorite toppings, such as bananas, berries, nut butter, jam, maple syrup or honey, granola, chocolate chips, etc.

    Ingredients:

    6 slices of white bread
    2 eggs
    3 tablespoons water
    1 tablespoon neutral-flavored oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional)
    oil for frying

    Directions:

    1. In a shallow bowl, use a fork or whisk to whisk together the eggs, water, vanilla extract, and oil (until slightly foamy).
    2. Add the cinnamon and sugar and stir again until the sugar is completely dissolved.
    3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
    4. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture and let it soak a little (a couple of seconds on each side). Make sure the bread is evenly coated with the mixture, but not soaked.
    5. Add a small amount of oil to a heated pan. Place the soaked bread slices on the hot pan.
    6. Cook the French toast for about 2-3 minutes on each side (or until golden brown). Adjust the heat if necessary (to avoid burning the toast).
    7. Transfer the cooked French toast to a plate. Repeat the same process with the remaining slices of bread. Serve the toast warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, or other toppings of your choice.
