Ingredients:
½ cup (50 g) rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ cup (120 ml) oat milk (or any other milk of your choice)
1-2 tablespoons maple syrup (or other sweetener of your choice)
¼ cup (40 g) unsweetened plain yogurt (such as vegan soy yogurt or Greek yogurt)
½ cup (80 g) frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well: start with the plant-based milk, maple syrup, and yogurt. Then add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and frozen berries. Mix well.
2. Transfer the resulting mixture to the refrigerator to swell for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
3. Season the swollen porridge with additives, for example: fresh fruit, nut butter, nuts and seeds, cocoa powder, mashed banana, applesauce.
