    Asian-Inspired Peanut Sauce

This peanut sauce recipe is inspired by Indonesian and Thai cuisine, but it differs slightly from the authentic version.

Authentic Thai peanut sauce is usually made with whole peanuts (rather than butter, which is what is used in this simplified recipe). It also features coconut milk and/or red curry paste.
You can pair this simpler peanut sauce with other Asian-inspired dishes: noodles, salads, rice, etc.

    Ingredients:

½ cup smooth natural peanut butter
    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon SRIRACHA extra hot sauce
    1 tablespoon TAMARI soy sauce
    1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
    2 teaspoons maple syrup
    1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
    4-6 tablespoons water (as needed)

    Directions:

    1. In a bowl, combine peanut butter, lime juice, rice vinegar, sriracha, tamari sauce, sesame oil, maple syrup, ginger, and 4 tablespoons water. If the sauce is too thick, add more water (1 tablespoon at a time until it reaches the right consistency).
    2. Serve with Asian-inspired dishes: pasta, salad, rice, etc.
