Ingredients:
400 g can of butter beans, placed in a colander and rinsed under running water
½ tablespoon of oil
½ teaspoon each of salt and pepper
½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 200 degrees.
2. Pat the washed beans with a clean kitchen cloth or paper towel to remove excess moisture. Then spread the beans on the baking sheet.
3. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with salt, black pepper and garlic powder (if using).
4. Rub the beans with oil and spices with a spoon or your fingers, then spread them evenly on the baking sheet.
5. Place in the oven for 20-25 minutes until the skins become crispy and brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Delicious!
