    Almond Cake

    Ingredients:


    240 g of almond flour
    1 teaspoon of soda
    1/2 teaspoon table rock salt
    4 large eggs, room temperature
    ½ cup maple syrup or honey
    2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
    1 teaspoon almond extract (optional but recommended)
    ¼ cup chopped almonds
    ¼ cup powdered sugar (optional)

    Directions:


    1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Grease the bottom and edges of the cake pan. You can line the bottom of the pan with baking paper.
    2. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: almond flour, baking soda and salt.
    3. Mix the "wet" ingredients: in a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, honey, vanilla extract and almond extract. Then pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix.
    4. Pour the resulting dough into the baking form; sprinkle sliced ​​almonds on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow the cake to cool.
    5. When serving the cake, sprinkle almonds on top or decorate with powdered sugar. Delicious!
