Ingredients:
65 g of flour
30 g carob
130 g of sugar
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
½ cup of oil
1 handful pecans/walnuts (optional)
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking dish with baking paper or grease it with oil.
2. Mix the flour, carob, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
4. Add sugar, oil, vanilla extract and beat again until the mass becomes smooth and thick.
5. Carefully mix the wet and dry ingredients with a spatula. Gently stir in the pecans or walnuts, if using.
6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Yield: 8 small brownies
