    Flourless Freezer Brownies

    Ingredients:
    350 g of dark chocolate
    1 cup coconut oil
    4 eggs
    3/4 cup pure maple syrup
    3/4 cup coconut sugar
    2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
    1⅓ cup almond flour
    1 teaspoon kosher salt
    2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
    1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped pecans (optional)

    Directions:


    1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees.
    2. Lightly grease the baking tray with oil.
    3. Place the chocolate and oil in a small bowl and heat in the microwave until melted (about 90 seconds). Leave to cool.
    4. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the maple syrup, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
    5. Add the chocolate mixture and mix everything well.
    6. Carefully mix in the remaining ingredients: flour, salt, cocoa powder and chocolate chips and pecans (optional).
    8. Transfer to a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes.
    *Optional step, but highly recommended: cut into squares, place in the freezer and allow to set. We recommend eating the treat cold, straight from the freezer!
