Ingredients:
1½ cups all-purpose flour
2 ripe bananas, mashed
½ cup of white sugar (plus 1 tablespoon of white sugar)
¼ cup butter, melted
¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon of baking soda
¼ teaspoon of salt
Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 170 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Mix flour, bananas, 1/2 cup sugar, butter, walnuts, egg, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Mix everything well.
3. When forming the cookies, place 3 tablespoons of dough on the prepared baking sheet (about 5 cm apart). Sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon sugar over cookies.
4. Bake in a preheated oven until the cookies are brown (about 15-20 minutes).
