    Turmeric Coconut Smoothie

    This Ayurvedic recipe combines cooling coconut milk, mango fruit, pineapple, banana and digestive spices like cinnamon and ginger. Try it out!

    Ingredients:


    1 cup almond or coconut milk
    ½ cup mango chunks and/or ½ cup pineapple chunks
    1 medium banana
    1 tablespoon of coconut oil
    ½ teaspoon of turmeric (can be increased to 1 teaspoon)
    ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
    ½ teaspoon of ginger
    Pinch of pink Himalayan salt (to taste)
    A pinch of freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
    A little honey if you like it sweet (optional)

    Directions:


    Grind all the ingredients with a blender until smooth. Add additional spices if necessary. Delicious!
