Lemon essential oil is very suitable for freshening and purifying the air in the household and cleaning surfaces. It is an oil that gives a great and playful aroma. It is enough to add at least a few drops to water and when you wash the floor or surfaces at home, a pleasant citrus aroma reminiscent of summer will spread.

Lemon essential oil can be combined with other citrus scents such as grapefruit, tangerine, orange, lime, eucalyptus, and is also very suitable for mixing with lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, tea tree essential oils.

Precautions:

  • Do not use during the first three months of pregnancy and for children under 6 years of age (except when advised by doctors);
  • This oil contains light-sensitive molecules. After applying the oil to the skin, it is recommended to wait 6 hours. protect the applied area from sunlight.
  • Oils can be irritating, so always dissolve in vegetable oil when making skin care products.
  • Keep away from children.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • The natural compounds in the composition (limoneme and linalool) may cause allergies in people who are sensitive or allergic to these ingredients when the essential oil is used as a cosmetic ingredient (according to the 7th amendment of the European Parliament and Council Directive (2003/15/EC) on Member States laws related to cosmetic products);
  • Before using on the skin, always test on a small area of ​​the skin first (in the bend of the elbow) and observe for at least 48 hours;

Usage

You can vaporize lemon essential oils on their own or mix them with other essential oils. They are suitable for dripping into a vaporizer, aroma lamps, or can simply be dripped onto a piece of material or cotton wool and placed on radiators in several places.

USE:

  • Spread 3-5 drops in the air with a vaporizer;
  • Put some drops on a napkin and put it in a warm place, for example on a radiator. Heated essential oil will diffuse beneficial molecules into the air;
  • Add 5 drops to the water when washing the floor;
  • Pure essential oils are not used on the skin. They must be diluted with base oils. For massages, rubs, perfumes, dilute with base oil (almond, sesame, etc.): 10 drops of the mixture in 10 ml (two tablespoons) of base oil;
