Organic small porridge oat flakes AMRITA, 400 g

Storage: once opened keep in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Preparation: for one person: 1 glass of milk or water to ½ glass of oats. Mix in a pot and slowly bring to a boil. Simmer for a couple of minutes.

Homemade Oat Milk. This homemade oat mill has a subtle oat flavor and is low in calories. It is the perfect ingredient for your coffee, fruit cocktails or porridges.

You will need:

1/2 cup of oats;
2-4 cups of water;
AMRITA agave syrup;
Pinch of Himalayan salt;
Vanilla (optional);
Milk filtering bag.

Recipe for 4 cups of milk.

Ratio: 1 part of oats to 4 parts of water. Soaking is not necessary, but you can leave 1/2 cup of oats with 2 cups of water overnight. Add oats with water to a blender and blend for at least 1 min. Strain this mixture through a bag and gently push down on the oat pulp to release all remaining liquid. Repeat the same procedure with the same oat pulp adding 2 cups of water this time. Add agave syrup (to taste), vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. You can adjust the ratio to your liking. Can be kept in a fridge up to 7 days. Enjoy!
